We Received the 2019 Comparably Award for Best CEOs for Diversity

It’s official! We are pleased to share that Federated Wireless is one of the top 50 firms to share the 2019 Comparably Award for Best CEOs for Diversity; receiving a ranking of 35 among small to medium sized companies.

Last month, participating employees completed an online survey and out of tens of thousands of U.S. companies, Federated Wireless came out on top. “I am honored and thrilled that we won this award that exemplifies the culture we are creating for our team,” said Iyad Tarazi, CEO of Federated Wireless. “We’ve invested a lot of time and attention into fostering a culture that is inclusive and supportive to all and it’s beyond rewarding to see that this concept is being fully embraced by our employees.”

“Comparably’s annual Best CEOs for Diversity Award is based entirely on how employees of color rate their CEOs,” said Comparably CEO Jason Nazar. “The exceptional leaders on this list understand that diversity and inclusion are vital aspects needed to create successful businesses and great workplace culture.”

Iyad Tarazi and our leadership team scored an A+ by those who voted, placing it in the top 5% of companies sized 11-50 employees in the U.S. The Leadership score includes details about how employees evaluate their executive team, CEO and manager. Key findings from the employee survey include:

  • Based on 96 ratings, the leadership score came in at 93% and combines feedback from employees (97%), managers (91%) and the executive team (90%).
  • Federated Wireless’ team score is currently ranked in the top 5% of similar sized companies in the U.S.. 100 % of Federated Wireless employees look forward to interacting with coworkers while 97% believe their company meetings are effective. Among the various teams at Federated Wireless, the executive department ranks the highest in team score.
